In a plantinum LEED building that is wired for 277v, why would the use of step down transformers to 120v be considered against CODE? NEC code? fire code? What new core would be needed? Is this expensive to do? I am not in this field but have a client that we are trying to provide services to in decor and design. Also, how does one then locate 277v holiday lighting?
