    Hi,

I was wondering if anyone would be able to tell me if the USB on Xilinx Spartan 3E board can be used for any other purpose other than programming?

In my project, I want to see if I can program the FPGA board and then use the USB as input/output for data (easier to connect to a computer and other devices).

    Thanks in advance.

I would have to take a look at the schematic. If the USB is connected to lines on the FPGA that are only for promgramming, you will not be able to send data.

Someone who is familiar with the FPGA will know more than I.

I don't even see the Xlinix chip. I can't tell from the reference design Rev. D. It may be on page 3 a.k.a. "This page is intentionally left blank."
