I asked this question on the Zone this morning but no one has an opinion.
I usually purchase my electronic components from Digikey, however I have been looking at some expensive driver chips LMD18245T. I have seen the same chips on the big auction site for half the cost as Digikey.
Are these alternate sources selling the same chips as Digikey? Has anyone dealt with the overseas chip sources?

    Thanks for the help.

Stay away from Futurlec, they have a reputation for poor shipping times and price changing after the sale. See my recent transaction outlined in a thread I started about them, and the responses I got from the membership. definately a Bad seller....sick with digikey or newark they may be a little higher, but you wil get fresh new stock in a timely manner.

Thanks for the help, Newark has them for quite a bit less than Digikey. A 7 dollar difference in fact. Since 2 are required per driver the cost can add up quickly.
