For the project discussed in this thread, I need to use 2-oz copper on my PCB for thermal dissipation. I generally get proto boards from OSHPark because they're high quality, fast and cheap. However, they don't offer 2-oz copper.
I've done some searching and there are plenty of fabs that will do 2-oz copper, but I'm having trouble finding any at OSHPark-like prices. If anyone has a source they'd like to share, I'm all ears!
I only need 2 or 3 boards of about 3in\(^{2}\), but the typical minimums are outrageous.
Thanks.
P.S. I just found OSHStencils yesterday. Great source for very cheap laser-cut polyimide SMD solder paste stencils. Pricing is $0.60/in\(^{2}\) up to 12in\(^{2}\), then a penny less for every additional 2in\(^{2}\), to a minimum of $0.30/in\(^{2}\). You upload board and paste Gerbers, and the site renders an image of your stencil. Very slick process.
