The value of the number being presented to the D to A converter relates directly to the "strength" (interpreted as loudness) of the sound. But about all you can do from finding large values in the sound file is say that thie large values will be reproduced more loudly than others.
Relating those large digital numbers to a sound power measurement is hard to do. The converted signal (now analog) must be fed to a preamp and then to an audio amp. The gain setting of the preamp, the fixed gain of the audio amp, and the efficiency of the speakers in converting electrical energy to sound all affect the sound level measurement.
