Customer query, what is contained within the base of a Solitone 400 ( a beauty machine). See image

I'm guessing here but maybe a couple of concrete blocks or a bag of rocks. It draws less than 1A at line voltage. There would be a power supply somewhere in there but it could be in the top. It wouldn't surprise me if it had a fan, a speaker or some small vibratory motor for placebo effect though. Besides blinking some LEDs impressively and having a gimmicky display, what else does it do?

I have a light therapy device and didn't know it. I thought it was just a yellow LED traffic light but according to the sellers of that fancy contraption my light could be used for its healing, purifying and detoxifying properties. 590 nm light is absorbed by the blood and lymph systems, activates the healing of sores, promotes the elimination of waste by the lymph-drainage system and boosts cellular activity.

I know that light therapy works but most of that unit is just there to support marketing hype; it need not be larger than a briefcase.

Light therapy at certain wavelengths appears to be beneficial. Just this customer brought this unit without its base and making queries as to what was there.

Apart from that, the price is astronomical, $10,000.

 

This customer would like to purchase the Stand as well as the base. Apparently, she thinks the unit is made in Canada.
