Solenoid pinch valve for medical tubing

    how much do solenoid pinch valves that can be used to constrict medical tubings cost in india ??? Any general idea about cost of such equipment ??
    Looking for kind of valve that can occlude the medical tubing step wise , like in this video:

    Not stepwise , sorry , what i am looking for is smooth and gradual constriction and opening

    Traditionally proportional valves are not cheap, if hydraulic units are anything to go by.
    Then you also need a feedback element of some kind to a closed loop controller.
    Find a sitable supplier on line and obtain a quote on cost.

    I've done a few things with medical tubing (used to make bubble detectors for that stuff) but never had to constrict it automatically. I assume you are in the development phase.

    He just uses a servo to drive a small housing he made. Since this is a servo you can use it for a gradual constriction.

    Yeah, I though about it afterwards, a servo motor would be cheaper than a servo valve, and if a precision threaded screw, Acme or ball screw could be the extension of the motor shaft with the restrictor on the end, or a variation of the above.
