Hi,

I want to use a LM5117 to convert the power from my panels to 13.5VDC.
One circuit that works with every panel.
I got some panels that give 30V 8A.
And one 40V 5A.
The input voltage will go from 20V to 60V.
A LM5117 should get to 20A. 20A x 13.5V = 270W it should handle all the panels
The WEBENCH design tools doesn's allow me to go over 9A.
I don't know the problem.

 

It looks like LM5116 and LM5118 are candidates, and TPS40170

The controller seems good. Implementation seems dependent on the external parts that you will have to find.
