I am designing a solar charge controller , I want to make common
ground of solar panel & battery and switching(Disconnect on full charge or PWM to control current) h-side i.e positive
terminal of the solar Panel by using a MOSFET,
The problem I m facing is that the I don't have sufficient Gate voltage to properly tun On the MOSFET becouse the Mosfet source is +Vbat i.e 12V above the ground.
I have found there are some driver ICs based on charge pump.
Please provide economical and reliable solutions.
