I am working on a solar light battery project and am having a problem. I have no problems charging the battery with the solar panels. The issue is during discharge lights begin to flicker.
I am using 12 vdc 10,000mah nicach battery in line with CUI 12-24 vdc controller, plus an adjustable LVD (adjusted for cut-out at 10.5 vdc) with 3-M16, 12vdc, 3watt LED lamps. When battery reaches 10.5 vdc during discharge the lights begin to flicker on and off. I would like them to just shut off.
Question: is there a circuit that I could use in very low voltage that would alleviate the LVD. Or could I add something to LVD in line, anything to get rid of flickering light.
