You probably are reading through the protection diodes. Try reversing the leads on the DMV.

Still seeing 0 Ohm

 

You will be reading the transformer windings. You can't test things properly in circuit.

Hi what exactly are you checking for, continuity? the secondary could be more than one separate winding, so you would find continuity in each coil and open between coils. Though the coils may have continuity they could still be bad that is they may be shorted you will have to use a RING TESTER to determine if that is so.
