Lemme try one more time. Are you asking about the existance of a course that will result in the person taking the course being awarded a "certification" in Switching Mode Power Supply Design upon the successful completion?
I'd be willing to wager modest sums of filthy lucre that the answer was no, but I've been wrong before. Even if such a certification did exist I would consider it to be worth about as much as the paper it was written on.
What makes you think that it would be worth any more than that?
Microsoft is a software company. I find it a hoot that they would be certifying Engineers when it is manifestly obvious that most of them can't find their behinds with both hands tied behind their back.
If I was scanning resumes and saw a Microsoft certification for power supply design I pitch it. I would consider the applicant a doofus for spending his hard earned money on such a worthless piece of paper.
