I would like to design a circuit using a MOSFET,and therefore am looking at the datasheets, but i am aware they have package ratings, i.e. a TO247 can handle a max of 90A (or there abouts depending on mounting etc..) i was wondering if there was a resource where i can find out what the ratings are? iv tried google to no avail so have come here to find out if anyone has a resource that could reveal this information??

ahh excellent, i found another PDF on the junction temperatures and such so very helpful!
just a shame that some manufacturers feel the need to lie or quote the silicon rating not the package rating
