I'm having difficulty finding information about the proper start and run capacitor for a compressor motor on a glycol chiller. The unit is quite old, and had been previously stripped of all it's supporting electronics. Just a fan and compressor right now.

What I do know, the compressor has an embossed plate reading:

1929-87 4A (the 4A is not embossed in the plate, rather it looks stenciled on)

E: C27-64 616036 AR26

V115 C60 HP 1/2

V100 C50 AMP 6.7

Can anyone help me in determining what I need to meet the specifications of the motor?

 

Are you sure it had a start and run capacitor, and is each winding identified?

Max, I am not sure if it had both start and run capacitors. Windings are not identified on the motor.
