Sizing DC choke for variable voltage

Hello.

How do you size a coil for filtering the ripples at the output of a simple three-phase full-wave diode rectifier bridge, if the desired voltage is variable (0-48V, max 1000A)? And is it possible to use this, without a capacitor, given this situation?

A delta-wye transformer is used to power the rectifier.

Thanks.

Thanks, but I can't see how that deals or confirm things with practical cases like mine.
I came upon some material that included minimum and maximum requirements, but in the case of load that will need variable current, the sizing is more problematic and I can't find anything satisfactory on this.
