simulated inductor

Yes I have but I was told to not worry about the simulated inductor circuit. They said to focus on our measured data and from their to calculate the time constant. I am not really sure how to do that. Also the time it took to discharge our inductor was twice as long as the time it took to charge it. Is this expected or did we incorrectly design the circuit?

we are using the +9V terminal of the om amp as the power source supply for simulated inductor. And the input voltage is 9.35V. Would the input current just be 9.35/Req of the circuit after the switch is moved so the inductor is discharging?
