Hi, I need a +4VDC and a -4VDC reference voltages. They don't have to be very precise (+-500mV works).

I've tried to use a TL072, where I first use a voltage divider to get ~4VDC, then invert it. But when I tested it the inverted amplifiers output was giving a voltage close to the rail voltage.

I've attached a circuit diagram (It says TL082, but I tested with TL072).

Try to swapp pin 5 and 6 on U1B
