Signal Symbol confusion

    hi guy,

    i am doing so self learning in signal processing...i kinda confuse some symbol in the reading..urgently need some expertise to kill the confusion...can anyone read my attachment what and how the symbol stand for...

    your going from zero to t ... in the second

    Additionally, the S-like symbol is used to show integration is carried out.

    in order to express 'the integral from t to 0', just reverse the positions of the 0 and t

    what does "tau" could be meaning in that situation when ( t - tau ) ?

    it is a change in time from t, similar to delta t
