Can anyone give me a hint in solving this kind of problem:

s(t)= 1 + 2t + π(t-1)^2 + 3,5t^3 + 0,6t^4

I need to find the even and uneven part of the signal .
Cheers!

This question was posed in the Homework Help section. As explained by the sticky note, a poster must show some effort in order to receive help. So far, after four months, no effort has been shown. Since the signal diverges to infinity it is uninteresting to say the least.

the forum is weak in signal :(
You've come to that conclusion because someone didn't rush to do your homework for you after two days of waiting?

Try should YOUR best effort to solve YOUR homework problem. You'll get a much better response.

What does it mean for a signal to be odd and even?

How do you write an arbitrary signal in terms of its odd and even components?
