i am performing an experiment on opamp in procedure it says''

Shunt R2 by a 10kΩ resistor

Shunt to be added in series or to the ground.

Shunt is old fashion talk for parallel. It is used in other sciences also (biology (circulatory system repair), traffic (express lanes/bypasses)...

A 10k in parallel will lower the resistance of the feedback path and Chang the gain to...Let me know what you calculate and measure.
