I have a microcontroller chip. But it seems to be very expensive.

How do I choose another less expensive microcontroller chip which has the same features as the initial one
without compromising any of the facilities?

How do I go about? or What should I search?

What should be my approach while selecting an alternative chip?

Can you tell the part number of the "expensive" chip? And, how "expensive" it is?

Be warned that microcontrollers usually do not have exact replacements available for any cost. There may or may not be a similar part that is cheaper. Probably not.

All you can do is start digging: make note of the features you need, and start going through the various manufacturers' offerings looking for something that will do the job. I don't know about any shortcut around that.
