Hello all,
this is a simple RL circuit but iam really stuck.
It contains 2 inductors in parallel,thus providing the opprtunity of a trapped current circulating around the inductive loop.Let i1(0-) = 10 A and i2(0-) = 20 A
a)Find i1(0+) ,i2(0+)and i(0+)
b)determine the time constant for i(t)
c)find i(t),t>0
d)find v(t)
e)find i1(t) and i2(t) from v(t) and initial values.
f)show the stord energy at t=0 is equal to the sum of energy dissipated in resistive network between t = 0 and t=infinity, plus the enrgy stroed in the inductors at t=infinity.
i know if we find the answer foreverything becomes easy .
time constant we get is 1.67 ms.i dont know how this circuit actually works.
Thank you
