    Hi people,

I have a stripped RJ45 cable to whom i need know how to make the wire connection in a D9 connector, in order to match the pinout of a MPI-Bus adapter.

How should i connect the wires from the RJ45 cable to the D9 connector?

    Thank you in advance,

    Boardwalk

That depends what you are going to connect the other end of the RJ45 cable to. The XBT ZG9292 cannot be connected to Ethernet however you wire it.

I'm going to connect the other end to a COM1 port with the following pinout:

    So maybe:
    RXD - RX
    TXD - TX
    RTS - RTS
    SG - GND

But I suggest you call the manufacturer. Damage is possible as some 'RS232' ports use 0V to +5V and some use -15V to +15V.

Does the RJ45 plug into the MPI bus adapter and you want the db9 to plug into the com port right?

No, the RJ45 plugs into the COM1 port of a HMI touchpanel and the db9 plugs into the MPI-Bus adapter.
