    Hi all,

Just one question about igbt module:

Reading FS50R12W2T4 , no need to add Rg resistor - p 2/8 internal gate resistor 4 Ohm

    Right or wrong?

    Thanks a lot.

the gate resistor is to prevent oscillations know as "ringing". Gate resistor is needed. Read about ringing gate.

It can be true that depending how fast you want to push a device you may want to avo id external gate resistance but at least design in the option. The switching speeds of IGBTS isnot very fast so I doubt Speed is a concern and integrity is more important. Usually clamping Zener at gate 18V and a lower impedance turn off resistor forMiller clamping. If powers are small 10R will generally do the trick and don't need to be fussed about the rest.
