    Hello,

    Do you have more details?

You don't even know what you have but you're wanting to use it?

There is a great deal of difference between an RF sensor and a transmitter-receiver pair.

Do you know what the application is? What is the definition of "long distance"?

Can you provide a part number, manufacturer, a link to a web site or something more specific? It's hard for technicians to help with a problem when the symptom is, "inop"
