I'm trying to rewire a fisher pykel smart drive motor for use as a wind turbine generator. there is a thread on a site called "The Back Shed" that shows wiring for a dual stator, staggered configuration to get the best power output for for variable wind speeds. My issue is there are two vaiations of the motor ; one with 42 poles and one with 36 poles. The thread shows wiring for the 42 poles version and i have the 36 pole version. I'm not an electrical "genius", but I know there has to be a way to wire a configuration that gets a similar result. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

IIRC there are quite a few posts out there via Google on those that have modified these motors in the past.
