Hello everyone. I have a question regarding biasing of photodiodes. I know that reverse biasing of a photodiode allows for high speed operations, but what does this say about the intensity of the received signal? For example, a device which is reverse biased at a given potential vs the same device operating in a photovoltaic mode (Anode grounded, Cathode to oscilliscope), for the same incident light power and frequency, which will produce a greater signal output?
