Hey all,

Quick question. I need a compatible part for a CSA11.0MT 11Mhz Resonator. Will any 11Mhz 2 pin resonator work? I found one place online but I have to buy 3 @ $10 (which I'm willing to do) but then they want $17 to ship them

If I can get away with a new part, I'd much rather.

Compare the values of the internal capacitors...

 

There's no internal caps on the 2-pin resonators as shown in the photo, only the 3-pin ones have internal caps.

From the repair industry it was common to replace a dead 2-pin resonator with a different brand modern 2-pin resonator, and there is usually no problem.

 

Really they are US$10?? that seems about 100x too expensive ifd you ask me...

 

Thank you for the replies! Much appreciated. Yeah it's basically a $0.53 part. I realize it's been discontinued and would have paid the $10 but the $16.95 shipping is whats killing me. It can be mailed for a postage stamp, it cant weigh more than a 10th of a gram! I hate gouging :/
