I'm doing a minor reorganization on my resistor storage, and I needed the color for the X 0.1 multiplier. The AAC reference has this...

Basically the AAC book doesn't go down to the lower multipliers. My resistor kit goes down to the 0.1 multiplier. I'm thinking it may be a good idea to update it. What does everyone else think?

With 4 bands, it is gold.

OK, but I still have a 3 band resistor that goes between 1-9.9Ω. Gold is the 3rd band.

 

red,red gold, gold is 2.2 ohm, 5%

red,red, gold, blank is 2.2ohm, 20% Unfortunately, the blank band is hard to see.

I don't even pay attention to the tolerance band anymore, 5% is my standard part. But my original comment, the AAC chart not including these values, is what started this.
