So I ordered a slider today, off of ebay, for like $4.00, with free shipping.

But it got me to thinking, perhaps there is a handheld digital display resistor color band calculator, with other features, like Ohms law, with slide rule type stuff. (Perhaps you can tell I'm not a mathmatician).

Anyway, I googled it, and didn't find any such devices.

I found lots of free downloads, and sliders, but no "Handheld calculators".

Are any of you guys aware of any such device?

    Just curious.

    Thanks,
    Gary

I'm an old guy, and I don't have a lot of my mind left.

I need notes, and signs, and pictures, and you-tube instructional videos, and re-re-re-re-training.

    But hey, I'm still here.

Today, I did go through a small board, and finally confirmed all the resistors were good. But I think I may be suffering from color blindness as well. It took me almost all day.

    It's time for a nap.................

I'm on the front porch with an icy cocktail and my guitar, watching an approaching thunderstorm. I highly recommend it over the nap.
