    hello

I want to build an antenna analyser I have the circuit and it calls for 4 aa143 diodes. I have looked at the data sheet and found that they are germanium and used in radio circuits.
they are available only on ebay. I wanted to find something similar that was more readily available and cheaper. im not sure what to use though, I have tried OA91. I would like to use the ones in the circuit or closer. I don't know what is required though. should any RF diode be ok?

    Hello,

Do you have a schematic available?
That way we can see how critical the diodes will be in the circuit.

    schotkey diodes will probably work.

Cheaper and easier than e-bay? Good luck with that.

    Try NTE110A, germanium diodes

That should work as well as be available.
