We have an Induction Heater has two IGBTS, one of them was defected (FF200R12KS4)... In our Stock there is (FF300R12KS4), an experienced Technician says it is alternative to the defected part, but there is some differences in the data sheet, can any one advice us for using it or not?
As my experience of electronics is not very good, What is the effect of these parameters?

Parameter : FF200R12KS4 , FF300R12KS
internal Gate Resistance : 2.5 , 1
gate Charge : 2.1 , 1.0
Input Capacitance : 13.0 , 20.0
Reverse Transfer capacitance : 0.9 , 1.4

 

They look pretty close to one-another. Just to play it safe, I would replace the pair.

thanks for response, but should I change the driver or not??

 

Is the driver broken? If not, the same driver will probably be just fine.
