Hi, I'd like to map my apple keyboard's command key to the control key (So I don't go crazy using my windows computer at work). I'm new to microcontrollers, does anyone know a good place to start the project?

    Thanks!

Sounds too difficult for a beginner project. The keyboard is USB so you would need a microcontroller with USB host and client ports. A USB analyser would be almost essential. It's entirely possible that the protocol is not fully documented (it is Apple).

If this is an Apple computer then you can do it all in software. I remember there being a Dvorak setting/driver for my Mac Plus.

In the end, if all else fails, isn't a surgery operation for a rewire in two adjacent buttons viable? (I didn't quite figure out if you still want to use the keyboard for Mac)
