Hi guys

i want to use the relay that i have attached down below to stop a conveyor belt when the sensor which i have also attached gets blocked. The conveyor belt itself is run by a 3 phase motor and contactor which is being turned on and off by a plc. The contactor coil is rated at 24vdc. Thing is im just a little sketchy on how to go about wiring it up according to the data sheet for the relay the coil is numbered 1 and 5 and the common is 2 NC is 4 and NO is 3 is this right? if so i know i have to get power to the coil and the common terminal is this also right? and basically how does it all go together then?

thanks in advance guys

I agree with your relay pinout comments.

Do you expect the sensor to work independently of the PLC, or as an input to the PLC?
