Hi, I am looking for a way to record the signal from a pulse generator. I want to cycle through different pulse rates and different pulse widths and play them back. Is there a stand-alone device that will do this?

A digital storage oscilloscope will, perhaps in conjunction with some software. This may or may not meet your needs, but you've given us so little to go on (kinda like the cops that had their toilet stolen). What pulse rates will be used? Risetimes/falltimes? Duty cycle? Amplitudes? How accurate does the playback have to be.

Actually, a better approach for asking for help is to describe the decision you're trying to make (we usually take data to help us make decisions) or the objective you're trying to accomplish. There may be other ways to get to your goal than what you've described. There are some pretty experienced birds on this board and chances are you'll get some pretty good suggestions.

Depending on repetition rates and rise/fall times, you could use anything from a PC sound card to an Aeroflex BSA.
