Just got some spam in with some interesting subject lines.

What if you get pregnant?

OK now there is someone that doesn't know their market. I am a male and 55 to boot so I would be in menopause! :) Yeah I know they just send this stiff out but still.

It does not have to be hard

That sort of contradicts all of those other Viagra emails that I get. ;)

I turned on Box Trapper recently and it has dropped my spam to zero. You can still see a queue to allow emails to pass and / or to fine tune your white, black and ignore lists.

I have a really old hotmail address. I have filled up my rules queue long ago, so I just keep a careful eye on things.

I keep 2 or 3 spare email addresses so I can afford to give out deletable addresses to anybody except family and friends.

I made that mistake long ago. Now it is too late without shutting down my email.

I sold software and thought it was a good idea to include my email in any signatures to sort of get advertising out there.

But box trapper really stopped the spam.

I don't get it. Why is it a mistake to give out (not really your favorite) email addresses that you already intended to shut down at the first sign of spam?

What??? I never intended to shutdown any email addresses.

Boxtrapper sems to be working for me now. Why would I want to go throght the hassles of shutting down email addresses if it works?

You said it was a mistake to have several disposable email addresses.
It is a method that works for me.
My, "private" email address has been in effect for about 7 years without getting spammed.
I recommend this method.

No I meant it was a mistake to put my good email out there years ago and NOT use a disposable email.

Hola sp,

what is the official site of Boxtrapper?

Is it an additional load as Avast is?
No your internet provider needs to supply it to you. It runs on the server. You might want to check with them as they may have something similar.

Or you can just pay for a website. I use DirectNic and I think the cost is around $50 US a year and that includes a pop server.
