Flight 93 changed the lexicon from inaction to action.

If the Police will just refrain from shooting the heroes, this might become a trend!

    In other news...

I am sure someone will accuse our two heroes of infringing upon the rights of the gentle jihadist.

Or pounding him into unconsciousness after they disarmed him, twice, or is that thrice.

Where is the fun in that? Not everyone has a loosewire behind the keyboard you know.

    Joey ...

I think the ARMY is wrong with that involuntary discharge. That Qualitative Management Program looked at "black marks" in the service record and not the reasons of the black marks. More about that program is: http://archive.armytimes.com/articl...-expands-involuntary-separations-problem-NCOs

Classifying his "relief from duties and flight home" as a black mark without looking at the whole even is a miscarriage of justice and I hope the Congress critters get after the ARMY.

Personally, I would be looking at those Officers who reviewed and approved such an action against the 1st Sargent. Maybe it's time for the Senate to hold up promotions of those officers for "loss of confidence" or in my simpler words ... being stupid.

I had just finished reading Ashley's War, the story of the Cultural Support Teams who went in with the Rangers and interrogated the Afgan women and children. It was about the first group of women on those teams. Another group of heroes that preceded this week's news of two women graduating from Ranger School. They fail to mention that 400 soldiers applied and less than 100 graduated. As long as the women meet the established and not discriminative standards, I say good for them. Those in the aforementioned teams demonstrated to the Army that dedicated soldiers, male and female, can meet the high standards. The graduates earned their Ranger tab. Use them as such.

More about LT Ashley White and the Cultural Support Team.
