Hi to all the group users. I am doing research in area of Incremental delta sigma modulation techniques and A/D conversions. I am looking for text book for detailed study of incremental delta sigma theory and related development. A good thesis report in that area will also help. Please suggest.

Thanks for your reply. Some of the links are broken and others have general over all information. Only one of the articles had mathematical explanation.
I am looking for something more detailed and specific to Incremental Delta Sigma modulation rather then general. I have basic idea of sigma-delta modulation and its working. Incremental delta sigma's are used in instrumentation engineering ( from research papers). I wanted to know if anyone have any information regarding text books ( names) or publicly available thesis on IDS. Its mathematical analysis and application in circuit design.

Patrick Gaydecki has a good book on this sort of thing, though he focuses on it from a DSP perspective.

There is very little in terms of circuit level. Our e-book is the only text I know of that deals with delta-sigma in an educational way from a purely circuits perspective: http://www.allaboutcircuits.com/vol_4/chpt_13/9.html

There probably isn't sufficient detail in there for you as it only intended to impart the basic ideas.

Might be an idea to see if you can get hold of the Markus, Silva, and Temes paper "Theory and applications of incremental delta-sigma converters" in the IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems. There are a few other papers freely available on line, e.g. http://isl.stanford.edu/groups/elgamal/abbas_publications/J047.pdf and http://www.mit.bme.hu/projects/delsig01/markus_phd_tbooklet.pdf - sadly neither cover it from a circuits perspective.
