    Hello,

    Can someone please help me by explaining how to rearrange the following formula to find Vr:-

    VL=Vm-Vr/2

    I have been trying for hours and I just can not seem to make it work, therefore I would really appreciate any help that you can provide.

    Regards,

    Sparkyian.:confused:

    VL=Vm-Vr/2

    thus VL-Vm=-Vr/2

    thus -Vr=2VL-2Vm

    thus Vr=2Vm-2VL

    simple!!

    Thanks mik3, but what I don't understand is how or why you have cancelled out the minus sign in front of Vr. Please Explain?
