Hey guys..

maybe its a stupid question but im a beginner so please forgive me :)

i just build my first audio amp circuit (tda2822m) with an old mp3 player li ion battery.. it works great but the battery life is bad as its only 80mah..
i am limited to small lithium batteries as my casing is super small...

now i have found alot of small lipos with great mah / size / price but there is one thing that confuses me.. they are all RC lipos with a "C" rate.. its important for RC for peak amp flow but mp3 player batteries have only 1 C as they dont need it..

do you think its safe to use them for a op amp circuit? or mp3 players in general? or do you know any source where i can get super small lipo batteries with high mAh?

Those should be perfectly safe to use for your audio amp as long as they are the correct voltage. The C rating should have little effect for your application.
