    hi guys

I'm currently trying to design a 1,4,3,5,7,6,2,1.... synchronous counter.
In one of the karnaugh maps i only have 0's and don't care terms.
I've tripled checked in case i made a mistake but i'm sure i've done my calculations right.
The other maps work out fine.
I'm out of ideas at to what the problem could be, any suggesions?

You only need a 3-bit counter. A fourth bit would always be 0.

    ahhhh, i remember now
so for my counter, i dont have to worry about 8-15, my only dont care term will be 0.
then my Karnaugh map will have ABC.

Getting rid of the digital systems rust.

    Thanks :)
