Hi people, if there is one thing that excites me and thats has to be Formula 1. I do play sim racing in professional leagues "rFactor" and enjoy every bit of it. However, its becoming very detailed these days as some games like "Live for Speed" has files where you can read from using a RS 232 and crossing through a microchip which then you can make display current speed, RPM, fuel guage, Car status etc.

Has anyone done this or have any idea of it? Its quite interesting and can bring realism to your enjoyed hobby.

Here is a demonstration from youtube, quite bizzar.
