    What is this?

    What is its name?

Where can I get it in the USA?

I have a project where I need it.

If you have a different quick wire connect (besides banana or post) I would be interested.

Nope, that is a cable tie down. Mine has a spring clip to connect to a bare wire, and is made from metal. The hole shown is meant for mounting, and to connect a wire that goes to the rest of the system.

I've seen them forever. If I could show an actual picture I would know the name.

You push the flange down, which opens up the wire grabber. You shove the bare wire in and when you release it the wire is attached.

That's how I would spell it. Right on!
On the other hand Google corrected me to Fahnestock clip

That link also indicates Antique Electronic Supply in Tempe Arizona, also known as www.tubesandmore.com

They have cashed more than one check from me.

    Thank you.

I remembered while I was out driving where I used to see them, HO rail road sets.
