    Consider the circuit in Figure 5. Suppose that R=2.5Ω, L=0.25H, C=0.25F and the initial capacitor voltage V0 =10.


    (a) The switch S has been open for a long time and is closed at t=0. Use the time domain analysis method to determine voltage and current i(t)for t>0

    (b) If a critically damped response is needed, what should be the value of the capacitor if the inductor L and resistor R remain the same?
