Hi all,I don't know if it's the right place for this question but I hope you can help me :)

for the waveform in the picture f(t):

1-determine the mean square value in the time domain
2-find the PSD (assume 1 ohm) and sketch it.

Hello and welcome to the AAC forums!

The Homework Help section rules ask that you post the work you have done so far so we can see it and find where you went wrong, or suggest better approaches. We will not do all your work for you, no matter how little time is left before it must be submitted.

If you are in doubt about how to structure your post and what to include please read this thread: http://forum.allaboutcircuits.com/showthread.php?t=3002

    Thank you.

Sorry for not reading the rules before starting new thread, the problem is I don't know what is
    f(t) here , I don't think it's cosine because no -1, what f(t) could be?

What formulas do you have at hand?

Why don't you try the absolute value, f(t)=|5sin(t)|
