Question about fan motor plz help

    I have a fan motor with 6 wires (black,red,white,blue,yellow and gray) and i want to connect it directly to electricity so i want to know which two wire should i connect, thanks

    What kind of fan are you using, that is, who is the manufacturer, what is the part number?

    your white is typically the neutral, with any other wire being a hot connection for speed select.

    I would recommending that you seek the manufacturer wiring diagram before connecting it to source.

    OK the kind of fan is ( 12" box fan BRIZA ) , but I don't know the exactly type of motor it has a label { TB - 30 \ QC3 \ 230V ~ 50 HZ } that's all.

    I can't find any information on the manufacturer Briza or the motor marking?

    Those 6 wires could easily be AC common, two wires to a run capacitor, and then 3 speed selections. There really has to be more information before this motor can be connected safely.
