Hi..................:)
I've a CRT TV of a 2002 make....
recently i have a problem with it....
all of a sudden the display is not working also there is no sound and display coming when it is switched on.....
when i switch off the TV there is a flash coming....
hence i feel the picture tube is absolutely fine... my vendor suggested me to change a capacitor but when i tested it its just fine...

can somebody guess what might be the fault??????

Thank u in advance....:)

Hello,

The capacitor can be for high voltage.
When you measure it with a multimeter it may look OK.
But when the high voltage is applied it still can go wrong.

It seems a schematic is not available...
can you show me a pic of the capacitor area.
And do you have experience in trouble shooting TV's

Hi the problem with your TV as explained by you can be in any number of places. What yoiu should do is post a clear description of the fault, identify the capacitor by value and possible location, to say 'change a capacitor' is a vague solution, and your post may now revolve around 'the capacitor'.
