1 - what will be the output voltage if D2 is reversed in the voltage-doubler circuit ?
this is a originally circuit
2 -from the fig above, what must be the rms voltage rating of the transformer secondary for a voltage doubler that produces an output of 500 V ?
3 - compare the characteristics ( dc and ripple voltage ) of a voltage-doubler with an ordinary ac to dc rectifier using a capacitor filter ?
