I'm building a couple of buck converters and needed some advice on which PWM IC to choose. I'm going to be using average current mode control and I was planning on using a few SG3525 and using some external external error amplifiers to get the average current mode control. The SG3525 is pretty cheap and its a simple design, for the low power system I'm designing. I've looked around and all the dedicated current mode control ICs use peak current, which won't work well on my system. Can anybody recommend a low powered average current mode PWM chip. The max supply voltage i can use is 7V.
