Could PVA glue effect the insulation of enammelled winding wire?
I'm building some coils and winding them onto another bobbin thats exactly the same. However, I don't want to use tape to secure the coils it looks nasty. I want to keep the coil tightly wound and apply a thin layer of PVA glue which should hopefully be transparent when it dries and secure it in place.
It would struggle to dissipate heat but I was just wondering if any chemical reaction would take place and damage the insulation?
